Terms of Use
Rules for using FastSend, its plans, download links and file-sending features.
1. General provisions
FastSend provides the technical ability to upload files or a folder, quickly obtain a link and QR code, or send a link by email to one or more recipients. By using the service, the user confirms that they have read and accepted these terms.
The service is not a permanent archive or cloud drive. Files are stored for a limited period according to the selected plan and may be deleted when the retention period expires, at the user’s request through the management code, or as part of technical maintenance.
2. Plans and limits
- Free: one file up to 3 GB, one transfer up to 15 GB, up to 15 GB of downloads per day and up to 50 GB of active files over 14 days per email recipient or sender. For public links without a specific email recipient, the download limit applies to the transfer and its public link. Retention is up to 14 days, with up to 3 downloads by default.
- Premium: RUB 249/month; one file up to 25 GB, one transfer up to 100 GB, multiple recipients, folders, download password, retention up to 31 days, up to 50 GB of downloads per day, up to 100 GB of active storage per month and up to 25 downloads at no extra charge.
- Business: RUB 1,499/month; one file up to 100 GB, one transfer up to 250 GB, up to 100 recipients, folders, download password, retention up to 60 days, up to 200 GB of downloads per day, up to 500 GB of active storage per month and up to 100 downloads at no extra charge. The send form may default to 10 downloads; the user can increase this value up to the included limit.
Limits may change to protect service stability and control storage costs. Transfers deleted by the user no longer count toward the active quota after their files are removed. For older S3 objects that are not linked to a transfer, the service may apply the Free retention period as the baseline.
Download limits apply separately to individual files and to the ZIP archive as separate download targets. For email delivery, usage is counted per recipient; for a public link, it is counted against the transfer’s shared public access.
If the user sets a download limit above the amount included in the plan, the service shows the exact surcharge before payment. The surcharge is calculated as: downloads above the plan × total distribution size rounded up to the next gigabyte × plan rate. Rates: Free — RUB 3/GB, Premium — RUB 2.5/GB, Business — RUB 3/GB. For example, a 3 GB file on Free with a limit of 4 downloads requires 1 extra download × 3 GB × RUB 3 = RUB 9.
If deletion after the download limit is enabled, access to the transfer closes as soon as the limit is reached, while physical deletion of the files is performed by the automated storage cleanup process.
One-time add-on keys may add volume, folder sending, extra recipients, a download password for Free and additional downloads. Any unused balance is retained and can be used later or transferred to another user through the same add-on key.
3. User responsibilities
The user is responsible for the legality of the files transferred through the service and for having the rights required to distribute them. Uploading malware, spam material, illegal content, third-party personal data without a lawful basis, or material that infringes the rights of others is prohibited.
The user agrees not to bypass plan restrictions, use the service for bulk spam, or attack the service infrastructure.
3.1. Partner API
Partner access is governed by separate Partner Terms. The partner is responsible for its projects, staff, API keys, direct download links, legality of files, and payment for actual storage and outbound traffic.
FastSend may refuse a partnership, suspend API access or delete files in cases involving legal violations, fraud risk, prohibited content, attempts to bypass billing, or threats to service stability.
4. Links, passwords and replies
The download link and QR code act as access keys to the files. The user decides who receives them. If a password or download limit is configured, the recipient must satisfy those conditions before access is granted.
If a transfer contains multiple files or a folder, the service may offer a ZIP download of the entire transfer. The archive may be prepared in advance or assembled on request; downloading it is counted separately from downloads of individual files.
The management code is for the sender only and is used to view history and delete the transfer. It is an access secret and must not be shared with the recipient or published. A recipient-specific email link is also a separate secret and must not be forwarded to other people.
A download password is included with Premium and Business. On Free, a download password is available only through a one-time option: 3 uses for RUB 5.
If a paid-plan user enables sender-profile display, the download page may show the name or full name and avatar supplied by that user. If anonymous mode is selected, the download page appears as a standard FastSend page without sender details.
If the sender enables replies, the recipient can send a message through FastSend. The sender’s email address is hidden from the recipient, and the reply is delivered to the sender in an email from the service.
An unfinished upload may be resumed in the same browser for a limited period. To continue, the user must select the same files again; FastSend verifies their technical fingerprint and the parts already uploaded. The “Delete draft” button revokes the scoped upload access and queues removal of unfinished objects.
In disputed technical situations, FastSend support may manually adjust internal download counters, for example after a browser failure, access reissue, or a user support request. Such actions are recorded in the administrative log.
5. Payments and refunds
Paid plans and one-time options are paid through the payment partner YooKassa. After a successful payment, the service issues an access key or add-on key that activates the purchased functionality. Access may be deactivated if the payment is refunded.
6. Limitation of liability
FastSend aims to keep the service available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, retention of files beyond their stated retention period, or recovery after deletion. File sending may be temporarily restricted during maintenance, with a notice shown on the site.
Standard unencrypted uploads may go through quarantine and antivirus checks before publication. When end-to-end encryption is explicitly selected, FastSend cannot inspect the encrypted file contents; this mode may be disabled, restricted, or accompanied by a separate warning.
The user must keep their own backup copies of important data.
